|About the Center|
Are you living with pain and feel there is no way you can find relief? Why not see the experienced doctors at the North Jersey Pain Management Center, who offer the latest techniques in diagnosing and relieving pain.
Pain Management, a relatively new medical specialty, is used to reduce the devastating impact of pain and helps patients resume more normal lives. It frequently replaces the need for surgery, and patients with conditions such as chronic back pain, sports related trauma, arthritis, migraine and post-injury or cancer-related pain are finding relief they never thought possible. Treatment may take the form of nerve blocks, muscle blocks, epidural injections or medication therapy. “Because our procedures are specifically tailored to your personal condition, our treatment is frequently successful, even when you have experienced failure before,” explains the director, John Halverstam, MD. “And pain relief is often instantaneous.”
The North Jersey Pain Management Center has nine locations throughout Northern New Jersey. Our doctors will make an immediate initial diagnosis and, if a minor procedure is likely to alleviate your pain, they will do it right there on the spot. More extensive, same-day procedures under X-ray are performed in two state-of-the-art facilities specially equipped for pain management; a board-certified anesthesiologist is always present during these procedures.
Our experienced, compassionate physicians obtained their qualifications at some of the world’s most prestigious medical institutions and are board certified in anesthesiology and pain management. Dr. Halverstam has performed a wide range of procedures at New York Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, New York City and Englewood Hospital, NJ. Dr. Ladi Habina received his training at the University of Rochester and has performed over 10,000 pain management procedures.
Most insurance plans and Medicare are accepted and transportation will be arranged when needed from certain locations.
